Former
Pipes |
Danish pipemaker Han Neilson
uses his nickname "Former" for his pipes. Nielson makes "Handmade
Former" classical shaped pipes which are turned on machines and
"Freehand Former" which are completely handmade. |

Johs Pipes |
Mogens
"Johs" Johansen was one of the pipe makers for Bjarne for 15 years. If
you own a Bjarne pipe there is a good chance it was made by "Johs".
Skip met with him at the 2008 Chicago pipe show and we made a good
connection. Johs is a world class pipe maker. He is making some very special pipes
for The Briary. |

HELMER THOMPSEN |
Helmer Thompsen has been working behind the
scenes for years. You might have seen some pipes that he has made in
the past such as the BARI Giants. He was talked into making some
smaller ones and stamping with his own name. In my opinion, they are
as well made as any Danish Pipe. We welcome any comparison to pipes
costing twice as much. |
