Spring Time is an odd little Va/Per.
The blend of Virginia with a dash of Perique, and the whole thing goes into a
sherry barrel. This aging process heightens the citrus of the Virginias and
mellows the Perique a bit. Expect a mild - medium body with a polite flavor.
The nice, thick flake breaks [or
rolls up] easily which makes packing the bowl relatively simple. The moisture
content was a little high to me, so Iâ€â„¢d recommend drying it out a bit. Still,
the flavor is great: well-balanced, sherry forward, and light body. This unique
smoke would make a nice breakfast pipe.
