Well aged Burleys combine with Virginias and a subtle sugar topping for politely sweet smoke. The Burleys smooth the edges on the topping while adding some nutty notes. Meanwhile, the Virginias add a natural sweetness enhanced with only sugar.
I found a smooth, creamy smoke from the first light. I noticed the Burleys ever so slightly more forward [but I smoke a lot of Burley]. The balance between the flavors is spectacular, and the topping is barely noticeable. At times, I might simply have confused the topping for the natural flavor of the Virginias. A delightful, all-day smoke, in my opinion.
