Here is a pretty shape with lots of birds eyes.  A shallow groove runs down the front and up the back.  The top of the bowl is as well carved as the rest.  Brindle stem.  This pipe is 6 x 2-1/4 inches.  Skip personally selected  these pipes from The Chicago Pipe Show.

This is one of my favorites shapes.  It has 8 panels on the bowl.  Even the top of the bowl has 8 panels.  Guess what.  The shank flairs out into 8 sides.  Magnificent grain all around. Very flat brindle bit.  This pipe is 6.25 x 2.5 inches.

This masterpiece is something to behold.  The exquisite carving creates a fantastic rendition of a flower.  The superb detailing shows off the wonderful grain pattern.  Observe how the narrow shank culminates at the end as a square.  The stem is ivory.  Included with this pipe is a matching Three Piece Pipe Tool that has Mammoth Ivory like the stem.  Karl Harkam also made a beautiful pipe stand for this work of art to rest on.  This pipe is 6 x 2 inches.  Skip personally selected  these pipes from The Chicago Pipe Show.

This may be the best volcano I ever saw.  The grain is nothing less than spectacular.  The birds eyes on the bottom are as impressive as the straight grain.  I showed this pipe to Bjarne Neilson and he told me that if it were made by one of his famous friends it would cost over $3000.00.  This pipe is 2.25 x 6-1/4 inches.  Skip personally selected  these pipes from The Chicago Pipe Show.
