Ian Walker hand-carves his pipes on a boat in the River Thames. Walker selected a fantastic piece of briar for this smoking pipe and features straight grain around the bowl and up the shank. He added some rustication around the top of the bowl to give a plateau look. The hand-drilling on the shank and stem creates an open, easy draw. The black, tapered stem with quarter bend completes the classic look of this pipe. Walker's pipes are some of the easiest smoking pipes and a great entry into the handmade variety.
