Dark-fired Burley from Kentucky makes the
largest portion in this blend. Cavendish adds a light molasses topping, and
Golden Virginia rounds out the blend. The body comes in at a medium while the
flavoring rates as mild to mild +. Room note should be very naturally sweet.
The first thing I notice is the unique,
stripped flake in the tin. The Golden Virginias make a bright stripe between
the black of the Dark-Fireds and Cavendishes. I barely noticed the molasses
flavor, tasting more of the natural sweetness from the Dark-Fireds. I would put
the body solidly at the medium level.
