Birds-eye grain shines around the top of the
bowl, while straight grain lines the side of the bowl. A light stain highlights
both grain patterns and the almost chimney bowl accentuates the straight grain.
There's a slim metal line that runs up the shank on one side. The other side
features more straight grain. A black ferrule separates the slightly bent,
tapered stem from the bowl. Also, the stem fits over a metal rod inside the
shank; this metal should strengthen the stem.
